I woke up this morning not wanting to get up. I had to actually make an effort to move. My cat, Tika, did me the favor. Hopping onto my chest and meowing in my face as if to say "Get up!" Naturally, my first instinct was to push her off of me. when she hit the floor with a thud, knowing she probably landed wrong, I got up and stared down at her. she had fallen flat on her face.

"You fail as a cat.." I said quietly, shaking my head. she looked back at me with a glare. I took this opportunity to finally get ready for school. After a long night of tossing and turning, dying of the heat, I was relieved, yet slightly irritated, that my prediction had managed to come true... Yet again.

Upon walking out of my room, my dad paused his game and smiled at me. "Your prediction came true again. It's snowing!" He beamed at me with that all too familiar and creepy grin. I only stared at him and sighed. "Give me a break... You're joking?" He shook his head. Again, I sighed. "Maybe I ought to give up my writing and drawing career and become the 'Weather Tom- Boy'! At least I'd give a correct weather analysis.."

My father laughed at this and returned to his game. Getting ready probably took me at least 20- 30 minutes. My shower having gone longer than normal due to the fact I washed my hair twice because I felt extremely dirty. Drying my hair and brushing my teeth was a sinch. I was also thankful for my natural straight hair or else I'd be taking longer to get done. Something I didn't wanna do.

On my way out the door, I got a message from the person I loved the most. I found it shocking to be honest because he'd stopped texting me in the early mornings for a while. But, hey! I'm not complaining. I'd rather him be the first person I talk to every morning other than my relatives.

The drive to school was entirely a pain in the ass. The snow caused the car to slip and slide everywhere and my father enjoyed every last minute of it while I tried not to freak.

The road being covered with some inches of snow, the roads slippery. As the car slid, my father laughed. The high school came into view shortly. It was almost like a ghost town.

"All the way down.." I said quietly, waving a shaky arm towards the double doors. He quickly turned the wheel and sped towards the doors that led into the cafeteria. He had slammed on the brakes, the car sliding to a halt.

"Have a good day!" He said to me as I jumped out of the cold, metal death- trap. "Oh! Don't forget to remind mom to bring my trumpet!" He nodded and drove off, leaving me to the cold. I turned and stared towards the school building. I look up into the sky, the snow falling lightly to my face.

I mount my bag and walked along the snow-covered ground, passed the Forum. Stairs were my mortal enemy and snow had made them so much worse.

After having traveled down the stairs, clinging desperately to the railing on the wall. I walked through the double doors and stomped my feet on the carpet inside. As soon as I stepped onto the linoleum floor, my shoes slipped underneath me. I fought desperately for a minute to keep upright and not fall.

I was thankful to see that the light was on in the music room. I quickly but carefully entered the empty room, gasping at the heat. "Jashin..It's nicer outside.." I mumbled, unbuckling  my "straight jacket" trench coat. I walked up to my seat and flung my jacket onto my desk. My backpack on the chair.

I took out my Gir hoodie and slipped it on, stuffing my Tripp jacket into the small bag. I looked at the clock, noting that school was to start soon. I turned on the teacher's computer and waited. Only four other students showed up, debating whether or not we should head to the library. I only shrugged and walked out.

I had run into a girl in my class. I didn't really know her but I thought, 'Oh, well.' She had told me she got into a wreck.

I zoned out for the rest of the class, the bell ringing waking me. I strode the halls to Academic Focus where my ex had begun to annoy me like he used to. After stealing my eraser and phone from me, I shoved him off his chair, glaring at him. "Draw something for me?" He asked, giving me an innocent stare. I rolled my eyes and shrugged. For one, I was bored, and, two, I felt like being nice.

I started the sketch in my next class, Chemistry, where the class discussed the elements. Something about ionic components. I hadn't paid attention to it, my mood spiraling downward.

the next bell rang and it was time for English IV. Since I had missed the previous week due to being ill, I was told to get on the computer during the Reading Session and finish my Video Game Design Career research project. the last thing I had to do was type up the 'Works Cited' page which was pretty easy to do.

I was really bored, or depressed, by the time lunch came around. I had nuggets and corn with strawberry milk. I felt a bit outcasted at my table. Rachel, the girl who threatened me, sat with us. Things were very awkward until Tanner started talking about being a pyro.

The bell rang and we reported back to class. We did vocabulary sheets and began discussing how to work on Short Story writing. The class I looked forward to the most was Basic Auto. We were gonna do labs today and I was going to have fun. I was the "mechanic" in my group. always got things done quickly and easily.

My teacher often thought I belonged in the actual boys' class. We often bicker and pick on each other. But it was all in good fun. I talked to him some time ago about having a game day the last day we had his class. He's thinking about bringing Halo Reach that day.

Speaking of Reach.. I can't wait to finally get to play it. Though, I'm also very nervous about it because my test to get into Shadow Team is when I get it.

Still a bit depressed...
I'll leave this story at that as auto is about to begin and I don't feel like writing anymore.
Meh..
This is just a substitution to my journal since I'm still participating in that contest...
Figured this will have to do for now, letting those who actually cares to read anything I have to say. >.>
